Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Representing Veterans With Brain Damage

At The Rep For Vets™, we represent veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI), helping them to get the veterans disability benefits they need. Serving veterans nationwide, we understand just how much a traumatic brain injury can affect your life.

About Brain Injuries

According to the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center, anywhere from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of military personnel and veterans have experienced traumatic brain injury. Different statistics are often reported in different places because it can be challenging to properly diagnose a traumatic brain injury.

Many people undergo psychiatric and memory tests. They also undergo costly CT scans, MRIs and other imaging modalities used in diagnosis. And the symptoms of brain injury are often not noticed until long after an accident has occurred.

We understand that our clients are often unable to do the things they once enjoyed. Our goal is to help them get on their feet again — helping make their lives as normal as possible.

Symptoms of TBI

Symptoms of a traumatic brain injury vary, depending on factors such as the force and direction of the impact. Different symptoms may cause a brain injury to be diagnosed as mild, moderate or severe. Even mild brain injuries can have life-changing effects, such as dizziness, headaches, sleep disturbances and psychological problems.

Brain injuries affect people in different ways, ranging from mild to severe. Even a brain injury classified as "mild" can be life changing. Get the support you need.
